Wonderopolis

After reading today's "Wonder of The Day", I am left with little more knowledge than I already possessed. While it was interesting, I don't care for it. I am interested in astrology, not planetary science or planetology. I now know that Russia put the first probe on Venus, and that it was destroyed by the heat, but I can't think of any future situation that I'd apply it to. Doubtless, there are articles on this site that would interest me, but without the luxury of being able to pick one for myself (they are assigned), I probably won't find many.
